Humanoid robots place extremely high demands on light weight and reliability. Frame shells make extensive use of lightweight materials such as glass-filled nylon, PC/ABS and carbon fiber — non-metals that cannot be welded, and drilling would damage the structure. Joint modules move back and forth at high frequency for long periods, requiring high temperature and fatigue resistance. The silicone bionic skin on dexterous hands must bend repeatedly without lifting. The perception system must maintain automotive-grade dimensional stability. The adhesive solution mainly addresses four types of problems: high-strength bonding of dissimilar materials, vibration-damping fixing of joints and harnesses, low-stress lamination of flexible skin, and precision bonding plus thermal conduction and shielding of sensing devices.
